What People Say about IFC Fraternities
Greek life has given me the opportunity to grow as a leader, a student, a brother, a volunteer, but most of all as a man.

-Tanner Pike

It has given me a chance to really grow in my personality that I never thought possible. It has taught me friendship, leadership, conflict resolution, and confidence that I never thought I could possess. I did not want to go Greek when I went to college, but I am happy that I did.

-Jeff Merrill

Fraternity Life has been the best decision of my life. It has provided me with ample leadership opportunities and has helped me develop into a much better person.

-Brett Chapman

Greek life allows me to gain friendships that will last a lifetime, give me something to do, gives me help with school, allows me to hone my leadership skills, and give me brotherhood support.

When I first came to Grand Valley I had a very negative attitude and stereotype about Greek life. After realizing that what I stand for as an individual and how much a fraternity could do for me, I had to become a member.
Fraternity life has expanded my networks and has given me a basis for me to grow in the leadership appointments to come

When I came to Grand Valley, I never imagined I would join a fraternity. I didn't understand what they were about why any intelligent person would bother joining. I couldn't have been more wrong. Joining a fraternity was the best thing that could have happened to me in my college experience. The lifelong friendships I have made and the experiences I have gone through are things I would not trade for the world. No regrets. Every guy on campus should come to at least one recruitment event.

Fraternity life has changed my life completely. The lifelong friendships and brotherhood that I have needed is phenomenal, and it is an amazing support system for when you have any problems. Never did I ever think that I would join a fraternity but it was worth it. I love it. All of the leadership opportunities and service opportunities and alumni support and connections are so cool and helpful. On top of that, the values that are shared by the Greek Community and my brothers have changed my life and made me a balanced leader for the worlds communities.

-Jason Halterman

Greek life has taught me to be better at time management, how to give back to the community and campus, as well as helping people and that's powerful stuff.
